Year 3 had great fun today painting our Egyptian masks.
We had great fun learning about the Gunpowder Plot. We took part in dance and drama to help us to understand what happened in 1605
Year 3 had great fun measuring each other. We found out how many metres and centimetres we were.
Year 3 had a fantastic time at the Richard III Museum in Leicester. We learned all about Richard’s life and how he was found in a car park In the city centre. We now know many things that will help us when we study Richard III by William Shakespeare next week.
Frank and Arther visited us from Cafod today. We learned all about the importance of fresh drinking water and how we can help our environment
Year 3 have had great fun this morning measuring ingredients and making bread rolls.
Today it is our school’s feast day. We have been researching Saint Brendan and why he was special. We have also been talking about Canon Cronin and how he helped to build our parish church and school.
Today Year 3 had a visit from Corby town Mayor, councillor Mohammed Rahman, who told us all about Corby and what it is like to be the Mayor. We learnt lots of interesting facts like how his robe is very heavy and that he has met the Queen.
